Well I tend to agree with you, but my GM is allowing it so I'm going to run with it. I love your swords so speaking hypothetically if you could get usable iron from blood do you have any tips?

XD Sadly I won't be making a real blood sword. It's for a game like Dungeons and Dragons.

4-5? I found 3-4 online. If 4-5 is true then my body count can be even lower!

Oh? If this thread is bad mods then I'm sorry I'll take it down. I didn't think someone would think this is real life. This is a table top game set in the warhammer 40k universe and I do not condone murderer hundreds of people to make a sword from their blood.

Hi so I'm in a black crusade game (For those who don't know. Space inquisition and I'm a heretic) and my characters life goal is to make a sword from the blood of my enemies. How many people would I need for let's say a smallsword. Is there any way to increase the quality of the blade? Anything I should know about this?

Ok thank you for the correction ^-^ either way though using an oven is out of the question so if anyone has a suggestion it would be great

Before I sketch out my design I wanted to make sure I had everything set up. I have been told I am not allowed to use the oven to heat treat my dagger (I wonder why cx) Anyway since that was pretty much my only tech option does anyone have any suggestions? I've read that you should bake a blade at 400 degrees roughly pretty much over night. Is there anything I could use in stead of a stove?

Sadly no. My parents know of a place to get T-10 so that should work. If you wouldn't mind keeping me in mind and sending me a message when you order that would be swell though!

I fully intend to and already have. I'm just trying to find a good local place to get some steel. Say Adrian I don't suppose you want a new dagger? cx

I'm planning to make an Athame for one of my friends who happens to be a pagan and I was curious if you all would be interested in me uploading a play by play with pictures. Fair warning when it comes to crafting I'm as green as they come and I plan to do this via stock removal

Yeah I want to make that clear. We aren't looking for a 150$ sword that will equal a Albion here just blades that would be a good starter blade for a decent price

I should add to this since it's my thread I've heard good things about Devils Edge on Kult of Athena

Lets count it as anything under 250$ that you would be happy to buy again if you had to replace it

An avoirdupois pound is over 21% heavier than a troy pound. Thus, a pound of feathers weighs more than a pound of gold. However, the troy ounce is about 10% heavier than the avoirdupois ounce, so an ounce of gold is heavier than an ounce of feathers. That is what I meant sorry
