Yeah I think you'd be hard pressed to find a Longship at this price. Unfortunately, I have nagging injuries to my dominant hand and forearm sustained from mountain biking. Takes all the fun out of swinging the sword around. I'm open to trades for bastard or Japanese swords. I require a sword with a longer grip.

Thanks... Lundemo is a legend and Earnie is an amazing artisan. I'm just the guy lucky enough to have an amazing sword.

Thank you for your interest. However, I'm going to reserve the original fittings for anyone that buys the sword. If the sword doesn't sell in a couple of weeks, I'm going to list on another site at which point the original fittings will probably be available. I'll DM you if that's the outcome to see if you're still interested.
TIA Pete

Pommel is peened. Earnie does really nice work and the grip is made of buckeye burl. It looks fantastic. Kind of like magic swirling within the depths of the wood kept in place by the symbol engraved into the grip.

The Joan of Arc is similar but has engravings. This sword does not have the engravings.
I've updated the post and added the weight.

I purchased this Longship Armory Landlord from William Swiger in early 2021 and had Earnie from Yeshua make a new grip and crossguard. It looks fantastic. However, I need to fund another project and am looking to sell this for (Sold) CONUS only. I’ve got the original furniture and will include it with the sword. Modeled after the classic Oakeshott Type XIV arming sword of the mid-13th and 14th centuries, the Landlord is a powerful cut-and-thrust single-handed sword. Overall Length: 34.5″ Blade Length: 27.75″ Grip Length: 4.5″ Steel: 5160H Original Fittings: Cast bronze Blade made by John Lundemo Weight of the sword with new fittings 2.98 lbs

That was a really great review. I've been eyeballing the APOC blades for sometime. It was great to see one in action.

Great review. I have a couple of L. Diggers pieces. They are both well executed and all about business, His pieces are deceptively simple but well balanced and made to last. I consider my sword and Seax to be functional art.
