Picked up my copy this morning and just finished viewing the DVD. Haven't viewed the 2nd disk yet, I'll watch it later. The T-shirt is only an extra-large, so I'll probably not be able to wear it after it has been washed. I won't ruin it for those that haven't seen it. But, I will say that I am very impressed with it. It is very well done, interesting and thought provoking. Some good demos of the use of the sword, it's history, it's place in Western culture, various fighting techniques and a lot more on the European sword. Sam, Matthew, Tinker and the other blacksmiths/swordsmiths will, I believe, be very interested in the words of the late Paul Champagne.

Well everyone liked the first disc. It has a lot of cinema history as that is what survived the most...then progress more and more into history. Very well done with a lot of cool stage combat shown. Not as much of the martial studies as I would have like is shown in the first disk. But that´s okay since there is a section for that in the second disk. Course I still have issue with the ARMA section...and that made several of WMA practitioners stop to go WTF. And yes we had to stop and explain why full intent with no safety gear is a BAD thing. Fortunately, the others practiced more restraint and/or employed safety gear.
