Here's something happening in the greater Montreal area: I've never been to one of those events and was wondering if anybody from the province of Quebec had some knowledge of what to expect. If there is any interest for this event, we could also use this as an opportunity for members from the region to meet and talk sword. Anybody?

Hello fellow Quebecers,
I went to this Salon a few years back...I think it is worth going for 6$, many antique swords (mostly middle to end of XIXth beginning XXth century sabers) for sale (you'd better know the market a bit for such swords to be sure you get them at a good price); a few antique nihontos (overly expensive); old revolvers, pistols and long firearms of all kinds; arbalest replicas, all kind of knives vendors (from cheap to good); all kinds of militaria (badges, insignas, flags, medals, etc.)...at least it was like that back when I went...I'd be willing to go back this year...maybe an English cavalry or infantry saber from the end of the XIXth would be nice to add to my collection!
Keep us posted!
Salut!
