Has anyone ever heard of Father Staples? He makes custom bows for a decent price....but with the small price comes quality concerns. Any input would be appreciated. fatherstaples.com/

Looks alright to me Jason. Strange how you can call a 40 pound bow a Warbow though

Hey, it could be warbow...just a short shootin warbow! He's got some nice lookin stuff...looks like it could be fun for some backyard archery. I just remembered, if you're looking for something with a little more oomph, try this site: www.bowstickarchery.com

I bought from RudderBows 4 or 5 years ago. The owner was really nice to deal with and the product has lasted everything I've put it through since. It's a bit more expensive (I paid 200 for my bow) but still a very reasonable price.
Edit: DOH! I forgot to add my two cents on the website you mentioned. My apologies. The product looks good, but you're right that quality control might be a bit lax at that price point. However, "what ifs" are a terrible basis to judge a product, so I say give it a shot.
