Has anyone out there had any experience with W.S.C. "Naumburg Sword" It's one I've thought about getting for a while now. Just hoping someone has seen or handled it.
Thanks

Looks fine, its a very uncommon design, sorta brazil nut style norman sword, type X blade ........ there is a comment on MRL's website a guy wasnt happy said the handle fell apart, if he means just the leather wrap well who cares expoxy can re-fix that, but it he mean the blade came loose ......... hhhhhmmmmm .......

I've been eyeing that sword for a while...but one thing I've noticed in my own experience with Windlass swords is that they can be hit-or-miss at times. Considering the price, IMHO, I wouldn't pull the trigger til someone else had done the review. I would be PISSED if a sword fell apart in hand; I read that comment on MRL's site too. Stopped my clicker cold, it did. lol

I have handled the sword at Reliks last summer. Was quite impressed with it. Neat little sword which I taught was well balanced.
Just my 2 cents.

It has a mini-review and has been discussed here: www.myarmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=11487&highlight=naumburg(Is it o.k. if I give a link to another forum when it's relevant?) From what I read there, the structural integrity looks good but most people have problems with the looks of the guard...personnally, I think it's an interesting sword -althought the guard actually is a little "blocky"-... I kind of like it nevertheless, would probably re-wrap and maybe grind the guard a bit...just my 2 cents...
