Can't be any worse than any other Bleach (or any other anime) replica. Of course, that's still pretty far from any grand level...but for $100, it'll cut something. Bottles, newspaper, maybe even tatami and bamboo. Maybe.
My greatest concern with all these is how they achieved the black color. Depending on the method, it probably won't be black very long.

Yeah I was also thinking about the color part.. After a few cuts, the black paint or whatever it is will most likely ware off..

Is that "guard" meant to look like a swastika, or is it just meant to be a cool swirly pattern.

It's actually a manji, in Japan at least, if memory serves. It's a very old symbol that, again going by fading memory here, represents eternity or something to that effect. I'll go look it up and get back to you, but no, it is not a swastika. Actually, the swastika is a bastardization of this symbol. Unfortunately, the best resource I can find in a hurry is Wikipedia's swastika page. Check the historical usage parts: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika

Im always suspicious when I see "full tang" because it often has rather...flexible meanings. I've seen a sword that claimed to be full tang dismantled to reveal a rat-tail. While yes technically the tang ran the full length of the handle, it was a rat tail so it wasnt a GOOD tang. A lot of sites use that little technicality frequently.

Agreed; and full tang on a stainless steel sword = a wallhanger with a full tang. That's it.
Edited to add: after some interesting reading courtesy of Glen, I'm inclined to think that not all stainless blades are bad ones...but the majority of them probably are. You know the caveat, just keep it in mind.

Agreed; and full tang on a stainless steel sword = a wallhanger with a full tang. That's it. Having a full tang is such a fundamental part of any sword, that if you have to state the obvious then there is something wrong.

While the guard surely isn't meant to look like the 'Hakenkreuz' (swastiska) it still does. Don't like it. maybe because I'm German ;-)

It saddens me that I used to be a Bleach fan, and continue to read the manga. Dropped the anime twice, though.

I think I can accurately foretell which episode that would have been.
First or second episode of the Bount filler and the Amagai filler. (Cuz I skipped those too)

I actually managed to bear it till near the end of the bount/bound/bounto/boundo/VAMPEERZ arc before the first drop, then later forced myself back into it, through the Amagai fiasco, right up to the reappearance of Lurichiyo. I spelled that wrong and I am not ashamed. I tried to keep watching after that but then she started whining about soccer and I could only see things getting very, very bad. I think the last episode I watched was around 208 or so...but I'm current in the manga at chapter 350. That I am ashamed of.

I always skip the filler episodes. Maybe a big hint The quality between the fillers and the canon is so huge....it's unbelievable. Really, with out the 100 or so filler episodes the bleach anime is really good actually.

I read a few chapters. Liked it a bit, and forgot about it. My craptistic manga of choice is Naruto. And as for the sword... I would not even know! Are any of those swords good/bad? ;D

Ranma 1/2 and Urusei Yatsura, since we're discussing animes and mangas. Though I do occasionally enjoy Naruto. It's just too much like Dragon Ball.
