It certainly looks good, though the big question will be how much will they sell for

If they want some of my money, they better be selling their goods under $300 (shipped). Otherwise, I'm ok waiting them out till the next recession

I thought you'd changed your mind about high end swords after visiting Mike?

If they want some of my money, they better be selling their goods under $300 (shipped). Otherwise, I'm ok waiting them out till the next recession I expect that they will be QUITE happy to do without your money. Personally considering the level of craft, and refinement of the work of these two gentlemen, I woud happily pay well over a grand... in fact I would expect to.... $300(shipped) will not pay for the scabbard and hilt work. But then some folks are willing to pay for quaility work , by artisans that are advancing the craft, and some prefer clusmy chunks of steel offered by mass-marketers that exploit both cheap forgein labor , and an uneducated market base... Advancement of the craft.... or exploitation of it.... OH well... Viva la differerance I guess....

I want one. I also hope they make an arming sword eventually. I have pretty much decided that my future Euro swords will be Gus Trim swords with Fletcher upgrades. I don't know if I will go for that one in particular or if I'll get something customized but I'm not going to be buying too many more swords so the ones I get will be saved up for and special.

Amen Tom. Gus makes some awesome swords... USER swords... I've seen what Shootermike can do with them... and yesterday I saw what Tom does with em... against dubble or tripple tatami roles... or rolls of tatami wrapped around bamboo. Yeah... I'm sold for sure on the Atrim swords. These new offerings look VERY nice...

well it is a little bit beyond the $300 mark but I think the price is reasonable. Mr. Fletcher and Mr. Trim have done some outstanding work. thank you gentlemen.

That is a very reasonable price. It's outside of what I could afford now, but nonetheless a great price for the level or craftsmanship. The sword is right about Albion-price, and the scabbard/suspension is only 700 dollars, which is cheaper than many high end scabbards.
Even though it's out of my personal pricerange, it's still a good deal. Also looking forward (like Tom) to an arming sword. Or maybe a big type XIIIa.

$925 seems absolute the right price for such a beautiful sword, good workmanship deserves a proper level of remuneration. I would be quite happy paying this much, safe in the knowledge that I was receiving something that is this beautiful.

I really dont want to be a party pooper here ( and i own an atrim customized by CF ) but this sword really looks like a standard issue Atrim with a grip redone by CF and some bluing... which would go nowhere near the 900+ asked for this one... And i'm not getting into the scabbard. I dont understand why someone would go for this one instead of a custom made to its liking...

That PEEN is almost 'art' by itself.
That is a well-made scabbard; in some cases, the scabbard can cost more than the sword. I think it is understated, and elegant, like the sword.
$925 is a lot of money, but- seeing as you can't get an actual Atrim (CF will have stock, but nothing's coming directly from Gus anymore) this is as close as you're going to get, barring the second hand market. Some will pay just for that.
Personally, I'd like to see that sword around $700...that's about my price range. At least, that's as high as I'm able to talk the wife into committing for a blade w/out a mutiny brewing.
