I just got back from picking up mats from Dave Wilson. Very professional, and a nice guy upon first meeting him.
I got home and opened the box of mats-- the mats are in *great* shape; no complaints here.
I recommend getting tatami mats from Mugen Dachi while he still has them in stock; and if possible, I would do business with Dave and Mugen Dachi again.

Agreed.....I have been using MD tatami for years and have NEVER had a problem with either the product or the company.
As for the mats, they are top quality and IMO, they are a true test of skill and the most challenging to cut correctly next to the dried tatami.
Luckily I have a source here in FL so I will still have a steady supply, but those of you in CA should definitely stock up while you can.

I third that. I picked up a couple of boxes on this past sunday. Dave is a great guy to do Business with. Take the opportunity to buy from Mugen Dachi if you can.
He was very accomodating, very professional, the mats are in brilliant condition, great to cut and he even gave my Wife and I a great local place to grab some lunch.
Good man, Good company, Great Product.
