I have been considering buying a new ATrim from Christian Fletcher/Angus Trim. Nothing fancy, just a basic type XVIa or XIIIa. I was wondering if anyone here has ordered one before and generally how long it would take to receive?
I do realize that contacting Christian/Gus themselves would give a more definitive answer but I would like to dip a toe in the water first. Once I contact them it will be when I am ready to proceed.
And any thoughts on which models are preferred by forumites are also very welcome.

Items listed as in stock on Christians site are availiable for immediate delivery... if you were to commision him for customization, there would of coursee be some waiting time... but other thhan that , just normal order processing and delivery times....

Unfortunately neither of the two models I am considering is in stock Thats a shame... I've looked over the site, drooling uncontrolable a few times... but if what you want is not in stock, there is no way to know aside from asking them.

Atrims listed "In Stock" are, of course, ready for immediate shipment. For anything else, it depends Gus doesn't have a set production schedule so it's a bit of a surprise what I get in stock. One thing that helps a bit to direct Gus' production decisions is to maintain a waiting list for models people have an interest in. Getting on the waiting list doesn't commit you to purchasing a sword, it just helps Gus know what he should be making.

It absolutely APPALLS me to see Christian Fletcher posting here . . . . . without any karma. Accordingly, +1 to a man who is helping to drive forward the Western sword revolution.

Thanks for the helpful replies all!
I know shad! There is so many amazing things to choose from and so limited funds!
buliwyf, thanks for that link. Good prices, but no style I'm interested in...right now.
Christian, thanks for that insight. I will have to settle on which one I want (type XVIa or XIII triple fullered...but I do love the XII single hander! ugh! Too many to choose from!) and when I do I will order one through your page. If it helps I am leaning mostly toward the XVIa. I was only curious on how long it would take. Now I know: As long as it takes. And I am satisfied with that ;D
edited to add: True kilted. +1 karma to Christian for taking time out to help!
