<a href="http://s565.photobucket.com/albums/ss99/Sotark/?action=view¤t=015.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i565.photobucket.com/albums/ss99/Sotark/015.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
I bought this windlass fantasy viking from arms of valor several months ago and scince the pommel was epoxied on i didnt notice that the tang was bent. It is very hard to even hold onto it and im very dissapointed with this turn of events.

Here's your pictures. EDIT: Ken beat me to the pics. The tang certainly IS bent. What I would do is email Jason at Arms of Valor, show him these pictures and explain the circumstances, to see if anything can be done. I, too, had a defective Fantasy Viking, but this is the fault of Windlass. Many times there are faults that aren't noticed on a quick once over. It doesn't look like you ordered the sword sharpened, so Jason most likely didnt look at it as close as he would have if you did (since he spends time hand sharpening them). Best of luck getting this sorted out!

It still looks bent, even when assembled.
Like I said, email Jason at Arms of Valor and ask for a replacement. Show him these pictures or link him to this thread.

It still looks bent, even when assembled. Yup, very vissable bendage...

It also looks like the the grip is made for the bend. Like if you could straighten the tang then the grip wouldn't fit correctly

I am sorry to hear that happened to you, Sotark. You would think that a bend that obvious would have been noticed. Something similar happened to me with Arms of Valor as well when I received a Darksword Norman. The blade was bent where it met the tang so I had to send it back.
