Most packaging companies let you run through their website to see what the shipping would cost you. Just check the website of whoever the shipping is done through and check. If not give 'em a call.

Shipping restrictions mean that packages over 42" cannot be shipped to oz, although this is dependent on . Shipping to oz can be anywhere for 60-120 USD.

Cheers Guys Well, off Ebay sellers will often 'pad' the shipping costs to make up money on the back end that they lose selling items cheap on the front end. It's ALWAYS best to get a shipping quote from a seller on Ebay BEFORE you bid... so you know what your getting into... also it's more courteous to the seller that way, so he/she doesn't have to deal with flip/flopping buyers and non-paying bidders.

My bad!!!!!!
When I was looking at the listing and saw the postage calculator and it clearly stated that price 51 so I'd assume that's how much it'll be ...otherwise i wouldn't have bid for it at all.
Thanks for clearing that up, I'll sure be more courteous next time around......cheers

As shadow said...he probably included 'handling' charges in addition to the shipping cost. One of the funnier moments on eBay for me when I thought I'd scored an 'authentic kai gunto' for a penny! This was before I knew people padded shipping costs to recoup item costs- ended up payin $100 in SHIPPING and customs charges for a cheap Chinese knock off. Sure, it looks old...but it also looks CHEAP.
You get what you pay for...
