... just glad to see me? ;D I was wondering how many of us carry a sword in our pockets as an every day item. Generally I have anywhere from 3 to 4 knives on me at any given time. To me they are a tool and I have one for almost any occasion from the sacrificial blade that I use to repair things or open boxes with. I always carry a whittler to trim my nails or to occupy my time with a piece of wood. It's always razor sharp. THEN, I have my sword in my pocket, my "Safety bBanket" knife. My "stay off me" knife. My "Zombie killer" knife, you get the idea... That is the one this thread is about. I've looked long and hard, spent all sorts of money to find "The One"... My search is over. My Pocket Sword, (hereafter referred to as "PS", not "PoS") of choice is: (Here you go sam, sorry I got a little lazy... Man it's frosty outside!) If you look close at the edge you can see the interface of the two steels. This knife is the largest PS I can comfortably carry, have readily access to, still comply with the law (it has to be visible) feels great in my hand and satisfies the Scott in me, never leave home without it... It's not cheap, but if you shop you can find it for more than 50% off MSRP... Does anybody else in here carry a PS? What's in your pocket?

Kershaw Storm 2 is my preferred cary knife, though I might have a swiss army or two on me at any time as well....

Yeah, it's not so much the picture as basically just a copy and paste of the ad off of cold steel's website. Couldn't give more of a personal description of your own feelings and review of the knife?

didn't mean to scare you off or anything, but since you mentioned a pocket sword, I thought I'd show you a pocket SWORD! ;D
but to answer your question, here is what I carry:
definitely not a sword, but a very nice litle knife.

Guess I could, maybe I will.... I was really more interested in what other folks carried... I'll trim it down some for you, K?

How long is the Caledonian edge DB? It reminds me of a Cuda Maxx a bit, if it is as big I know the sentiments you feel behind it being a pocket sword!

It fills my pocket Sam, and sticks out the top some, but "they" can't say I'm concealing it. Haha... Blade Length: 4 1/4" Handle Length: 5 1/16" Overall Open Length: 9 5/16" I carried a REKAT Carnivore before this one. I like it alright, but I find (like the Scott's) that this blade shape is more functional. Love the pointy tip! +1 sam, for making me get off my butt

I always have my Super Knife on me. If you dont know what that is you can google it. It is a Folding utility knife that uses a extra thick blade...that is razor sharp. I use it for work since I am a shipping manager and work with a good amount of boxes and stuff that requires I use some kind of box cutter to open it.

Looks like a beast, could you get a quick shot of it in your hand?

Dang! It's cold outside... I actually like this picture a little better because it shows the SanMai edge better. You can't feel it, it blends in smoothly. It's just a color change between the two metals.

Very nice, not quite as big as the CUDA, but big still. I really dig the line on the san mai stuff, I have seen it also on some custom and high end folders and it just looks way cool.

Marc, I like your Kershaw, it's very nice looking, great lines. Looks like a highend knife. Kershaw was one of the first knives I ever had that came scary sharp.
Carried a Swiss Army knife for years until I discovered a Leatherman. Moved from the "Tinker" model to the "Champ", then to the Leatherman. Now I carry (on my belt... Sometimes I think I'm trying to be a Batman) the Leatherman "Charge"... I could almost build a Battleship with the thing, well, repair it anyway... MacGyver, eat your heart out.
