Well... I preordered both a Bristol and a VA Practical Longsword. I have been informed my Bristol has shipped (sans belt, which will follow later) but that my Practical Long sword is still being built with the others. So... that may help, it may not.

I'm currently saving my pennies for the Crusader, but I can't wait to hear reviews for this batch, especially the Kriegschwert since that one has also really caught my eye.
So many swords, so little money....

According to Sword Nation, they are "Accepting Orders" for the practical series, but the Krieg and Bristol are listed as "In stock." This tells me that VA leathered up the Signatures first - which I understand. It's been what everyone's been talking about and anxious to see. However, I also saw that for the practicals it said, "Expect 2-3 weeks delivery." So I'm guessing we've got a little bit of time left. But you never know. I'm hoping for my 304S to come in this week, but I don't think I should hold my breath. But, as Brissybeater said, good things come to those who wait. It's too bad I justy really suck at waiting. But the fact is VA's trying to seriously rock this batch out. And that kind of awesomeness takes time. Just gotta keep reminding myself of that. In the meantime, I had to get plastic wrap for my leather car seats to keep the drool off of them. Last week was the third squirrel casualty. This is getting bad!

Quite a few members' orders have been listed as being shipped, but this was about a week ago. I wonder if any have showed up? I would think they'd have posted somewhere if they had....Can't wait to start reading some reviews.

My Bristol is on it's way... it's on the UPS truck in my area, listed as 'Out for Delivery'... so I will have it soon. Yummy.

I received a tracking number a week and a half ago. It's status was and still is "received billing information". I'm guessing they still haven't actually shipped the swords yet.

I'm actually awaiting that custom site Sonny was talking about, where you could mix and match hilt/pommel parts to customize your VA/Atrim blade. THAT is gonna be awesome!
Wrong thread?

Well, interestingly, whether my sword has shipped or not, I haven't recieved word for here nor there. No emails or anything. So I guess I have to assume mine has not shipped yet.

Sweet Deliverance! The drooling might finally stop....
No...the saliva glands haven't dried up. Instead....I just received information from Mr. Southern that my VA Longsword has shipped. It is supposed to arrive sometime on Monday! Woot!
However, I believe I shall start a thread in the cafe after such a harrowing experience with this drooling epidemic. It shall be for sword droolers in general....All will be welcome to come, talk, mourn over drowned pets, and offer advice on slobber.
Droolers Anonymous.....finally, there is help.

mmmmmm sweet ......... looks so much like a pro sword in the brown ......... I dont know what it is but after having black leather on the market so long it starts to convey a cheap look.

Ah man, that looks amazing. I was going to get the brown and then decided I'd take the black.
The brown does look better, but in the long run, you can't complain about either color - you'll be too busy reveling in the balance and pure usability of the sword. It's not blow you away beautiful...it's beauty is in the functionality.
But hey, in the words of a flash cartoon character I know, "Great Jorb" VA!

Ok, that brown looks incredible. Sonny, are the grip cores a bit beefier on this run than the last one? The grip on the Arming was too thin for my hand, one of the reasons I like the Crusader prototype.
