Does that mean if I was to put an order for a VA Practical with SBG Store I could email you at sales with details from Paul and request the brown is that a doable thing (I might just faint) Yes. Just make sure that you let us know when you order. Sonny

As well as the improved Practical Line - with brown leather! At least in a few cases.... Wait a minute... I noticed a few of these in the SBG store, thought they looked incredibly nice for the price tag. Didn't realize they were Atrims though... Now they look even nicer! I'm dangerously close to ordering one right away. But damn it if my economy isn't semprini, just when my interest for swords starts heating up again!

they are designed by Angus Trim but made at Valiant Armory's forge, so they are Atrims sort of. . . they ARE really nice. at least the first batch was really good and all the indications we have is that the new batch will be even better

Just make sure that you let us know when you order. Sonny Lemmie get this straight... I can get brown leather for the hilt, instead of black if I order a VA Practical (AT304S) from the SBG store as long as I contact you with the information concerning my order? Does this extend to the scabbard as well? Will this cost me anything extra? What information would you require exactly?

I wonder if this is a solid thing like Sharp/EXTRA Sharp, cool if its not just wondering if Paul was about to adjust his order selection on the SBG Store page to have black or brown ........ cool if not ........ a curiousity, yeah was also wondering if the brown leather could be put on the scabbard or is that gonna be a pain/more expensive venture

Sonny has said that he does not like the original leather on the swords when they come from over the water.
So my guess is that it is both hilt and scabbard.

this is just incredible. for a sword at this price point that is already as good as it is, I'm seriously thinking I might have to buy one. but where to get the money. . .
anyway, Sonny and his crew at Valiant Armory are doing the sword community a serious service here. this is far above and beyond what the price point usually delivers. look around and see if you can find anything to compare, I sure can't.

Alright boys and girls! Grab the mops and water bottles and tatami mats - I'm not sure how many actually shipped, but according to the post on SBG, our preorders, for the most part, have been shipped!
Let's hear a holler for who's getting what, eh?
I'm looking forward to the Practical Longsword, in the Antiqued Brown leather fit, provided graciously by Sonny. I just can't wait!

Chris B, I received an email from Paul telling me my swords have shipped. I ordered a Krieg and an arming sword. I am expecting it any day now I'm sure they are shipping them out as fast as they can. They have leather working to do on them so it it will take time for all to get done.

I have not recived my email yet, but I am right next door to Texas, here in New Mexico, so I'm hoping it won't take terribly long. Man I'm getting anxious. I think part of my problem isd that this is going to be my first new sword in aboutt three years. So I'm stoked!

I'm starting to wonder when they are coming. Sonny's working hard to get them out, but at the same time, we know that some have already shipped. Who's? I haven't the foggiest idea. But I've noticed I've been jumpy.
We have a bus route in my neighorhood, and they have the same brakes and engine sounds as the UPS truck, so anytime I hear those breaks....I get all excited and check my door. It's always empty though. LOL
