I'm developing a little bit of drool waiting for my Bristol... which should be shipping the same time all those Atrim/VA arming swords you guys are drooling over do... ...however, my drool is somewhat kept in check by my 2, yes 2 Custom Tuned VA Atrim Arming swords currently in my possession. Yummy. Maybe I'll head outside today and try some two weapon Arming sword cutting... Muahahahaha!!!

I know, I'm sorry... that was kinda a douchebag post. If it makes ya feel better, soon as I decide which one I like better, one of em will probably be fore sale or trade... cuz I don't think I really need 2 of em.

For shame, my friend. ;D

Woah Sean, you come to my house in the middle of the night, steal my 303S, then get another one and are considering selling one? For shame, my friend. ;D I know right? It's actually kinda funny... I was trying to get yours for awile, as you know... I couldn't. Time went by, I got the impression you were gonna keep it after you started cutting with it... I found another one, got that. At the same time I discovered a way to get yours... did so... and now I have TWO of em. I'm VERY tempted to do some custom grips on em and keep both... and build a back rid that lets me ware both of em on my back... I think that would be AWESOME. However... I dunno... I made some bad calls with money recently (not your sword, THAT was a good call) and I may need to sell even MORE swords then I did recently... I'm still not sure.

That back rig would probably be incredibly awesome. Also, I support building new grips for them. Couple days ago after I realized I'd need a working sword, I pretty much shot myself in the foot getting rid of a sword I'm going to buy again. But I like what I got for it, and the new generation should be even better, so I'm cool with it. Edit: But if you come in my house again, I'll be ready.

Edit: But if you come in my house again, I'll be ready. Maybe we could have a public duel, like Tom just did? I'd LOVE to do something like that... but the guy closest to me that I could duel with would likely by Marc Ridgeway (Who is a Half-Oger, I'm sure of it) or maybe Odingaard... who would beat my ass so bad my as of yet unborn children would look away in shame. ;D Your going to get the Crusader tho, right? It may be basicly the same blade... but the rest of the sword is going to be VERY different.

Yeah, but that's about my top-range financially for swords right now, so I don't want to mess it up with my trollish technique. So I'm going to pick up another 303S and build a new grip for it, then use that as a working sword until I feel more comfortable with myself.
Supposed to be a higher quality version of the same blade, with a pretty similar hilt. I believe they should weigh fairly close to each other, too, with similar blade presence (though we'll see for sure when they ship, I s'pose).

I see sword nation change the date on ther site from marsh to very soon is this good or bad? The reason I changed it cause the swords are in transit right now and I don't have an exact date on when they will be available. I am hoping for March but they may get pushed back a little more due to US Customs. As soon as I receive any information I will have it posted on my site.

So then....does that mean our swords are STILL on the water or are they currently dealing with customs?
Oooooh.....this drooling is getting worse! The flooding of homes is on your hands, US Customs!

So then....does that mean our swords are STILL on the water or are they currently dealing with customs? Last I heard they were being held up in Customs which would mean they are off the boat and in the States. From my dealings with Customs over the years I would not be surprised at them sitting there a LONG time. Don't mean to be a doomsayer. Just voicing a concern.

Actually, I've had similar dealings with US Customs. I think they sometimes get carried away but nowdays I can understand why they would be even more so. I'm new to the forum and am also one of the many who is a "drooler in waiting" for my Atrim Arming sword. I guess I will just have to be patient(!), and drool some more!
But think of it this way: We'll have our own very special Christmas/birthday/insert excuse for buying the sword here reason to celebrate when they do show up!!! ;D ;D ;D
OK, that made me even more anxious for my sword...

I did a search in the review thread for reviews of these VA practical swords, and did not find any... am I looking at the wrong places?
