Ok, not sure where to post this, because it is not an official customization - just a question about it.
I ordered the Atrim Practical 304 Long Sword the other night and I am thinking after getting aquainted with it, that some slight customization could be in order.
My main concern for that is the hilt. To one extent, that would probably lead to having to reshape the scabard's opening and everything, but noentheless I'd like to ask...
...does anyone know of a store or perhaps a smith who sells hilt blanks? In the end, I might not do anything to it at all. Seems to me that the AT304 and 303 have quite the love affair with SBG members. I'm hoping this baby is up to all the hype!
Thanks all,
Crockett

I think you'll be happy with it. I know I love my practical Atrim. I don't know of a place that sells hilt parts but maybe if you spoke to Christian Fletcher or one of the other shops that do customization work you could score some. I know a few people that have gotten into a little light smithing for this very purpose. maybe one of our local SBG smiths would be willing to custom make you some parts.
