any Devil May Cry fans out there?

Yeah, the blade could be bigger, but compared to past offerings I'm pleased.

I'm seriously astounded, though. Obviously, a lot of care was taken to get a detailed hilt cast that is perfect compared to game/anime work. The blade profile is near perfect(there should be slight swells fore and aft of those scallops toward the tip) and I can overlook the crappy cross-section(should be diamond).
Regardless of the great attention to detail that was put forth, someone made a big whoopsie.
If someone was paying that close attention, where the hell did the red blade come from? And calling the sword the wrong name? Those are pretty obvious blunders. Typos or small details I can understand, but damn.

Still might sell off part of my collection for it...

Japanese? Screw that. I don't KNOW Japanese. And when I'm WATCHING television, I don't feel like READING frickin' subtitles. If I wanted to read, I'd pick up a book. Besides, they distract from the animation and you miss details.

I enjoy the series for what it is. I'm not an anime snob who thumbs their nose at anything that's not Japanese. Those people aren't perfect. For pete's sake, they have vending machines for used panties...

This series was dubbed damn well, btw. I've heard the Japanese voice-actor for Dante sounds like an emo semprini.

At least a fittings set. Then one could modify a CS or Chenness O-Kat relatively easily.

First off you don't need to be an "anime snob" to enjoy anime in Japanese, and if you can't read while watching anime maybe you need glasses? The difference is that the Japanese voice actors get many $$ and the American get little $$ which can be seen in the difference in quality. Also the Japanese voice actors are chosen to fit their part but the with the American vocals it seems that they just pick whatever they can get. No the Japanese are far from perfect, as any other people but the anime is made in Japanese, it's made by Japanese people and the character Dante is made up by a Japanese, so yeh watching it with english dubs is the right way to go. So my point is Japanese is exactly what "it is".

But if you like lissening to mediocre voice actors then go ahead, I'm just saying that if you can read and watch at the same time then watching it in Japanese gives a better experience.

And complaining about how the English dub is never as good as the original Japanese is the same thing as saying the book is better than the movie. Maybe it is, but if it mattered I'd be at home reading instead of at the theater.

Admittedly, though I don't speak Spanish, I'll occasionally pop over to the Spanish channels. Alas, I'm not watching it intently for the excellent programming, I'm staring at the obscenely hot tail they have prancing around on their gameshows and soap-operas. Of course, I can only stand it for so long before I get tired of hearing what sums up to gibberish to me.

Probably because during some parts of Devil May Cry 4, it turns red right before an attack.

Could not have said it better my self enkidu, they have such emotion and feeling in their language which really shows in anime.

Thats a far cry for being red 100% of the time.

Yup I like anime, I like some of the culture, but there is also a lot of it I couldn't deal with.
I can't stand the people that think because one thing is better in Japanese ALL things are better.

There are very few white girls in the featured articles.
There are some very hot Japanese women, I don't mind looking at them at all.
I just find it funny that I can pick up 5 import mags at work and out of 20 features all 20 will be Japanese women or at least 19 of them.
