A "fair" is where the pretty pigs go to be judged, and slaughtered.
I am tempted to advocate the TANSTAAFL principle. Harrumph! (He said, stroking his imaginary Polish cavalry mustaches.)

I'm not a Heinlein fan, but I gotta go with the Lady as well - everything I'd want in a euro.

Powerhammer, but then I would need another 1000$ also though.

I would buy a used Jeep Cherokee to customize up for some offroadness....oh wait you probably mean sharp, pointy things. With that kind of cash on hand dedicated for sharp stuff, I would likely pick up a custom katana from one of the small smiths. Then send it off to someone to have the fittings all done up in my own custom theme.

The Acanthus Swordworks 'Templar Commander' sword. That should leave me about $500 with which I'd pick up one of the new CF/AT Signature series swords from VA, or, as Mr. Sinclair said, maybe spruce up my beater a bit.

Man, when did we grow up It's just not fair. Amen brother... I second (or third, whichever) I thought, as a child, being a grown up would be IT seeing as they got to do whatever the hell they wanted; now I see why they do. LOL

Here is what I did with the $3200 dollar bonus I got: 3/4 Schmitthenner Arms and Legs with Steel Cops Ravenswood Leather Huntsman's Jerkin (Black with Antique Buttons) Ravenswood Hooded Mantle (Black with Antique Buttons) Ravenswood Knight's Pouch (Black with Celtic Dragon Conch) Del Tin 5161 A&A Medici Dagger w/ Scabbard GDFB Wool/Linen Doublet (to be converted to a light arming jacket) 2 GDFB Poleaxe Heads By The Sword Short Sleeved Viking Tunic (Black w/ Silver Trim) By The Sword Medieval Pants Windlass Warrior Belt (Black w/ silver details) $60 of misc leather supplies (strap, dye, rivets, buckles, etc) 14" x 24" sheet of RingMesh (to convert to a light Churburg Skirt) Finished paying for scabbard for an ATrim New battery charger New air compressor for shop A few misc Harley parts Paid off 3 credit cards and closed 2 of them them out Made car, Harley, water, and cable bill payments Took wife out of a nice dinner and movieBoxes arriving at my house daily for the next month. LOL. ;D If you notice a lack of swords on my list, keep in mind I have an extensive collection already. It was alot of the other items for WMA and expositions that I was missing and needed badly - which is why you'll notice alot of odds and ends for finishing touches on outfits/suits of armor. I was suprised at the amount I got done and then some (considering I paid off all my credit cards). On the other hand, I have close friends make decisions like the below statement with $3200.00: Paid $3200.00 on my Svante. Owe Albion $425.00 more dollars. Written down, it seems rather silly doesn't it...

I always have trouble justifying spending money on swords and knives quite frankly, sure I may have the money in the bank, but when you don't know what life is going to bring I always find it hard to justify. As for spending $3625 on one or two blades I don't think I could ever justify that.
