Now THIS is why I waited anxiously for my account to be accepted! Thanks for the heads up! So sounds like Musashi is the winner and now I just have to find a place to get them from that will ship USPS! Well... Musashi is good for what you want... three affordable swords you can beat the crap out of for an afternoon with old friends... You PM'ed Sam I am right? I'm sure he can get you some Musashi's that fit the bill via USPS. Yeah I pm'd Sam I am so I'm just awaiting a reply. I'm going to order one sword for now as I'd rather look over a sword myself before ordering three of them. Not that I don't trust you guys and gals (I told myself that I am not going to buy anything until I ask on these forums) but I'd just prefer to test one out myself after getting the recommendation.

Well worth a look, IMO... -Slayer oh ya, hes katanasam on youtube never mind p.s what does imo mean cole, i believe "imo" means "in my opinion". And you are right about katanasam on youtube, or Sam I Am here. He has good musashi prices. I'm the one who told you about him on youtube

ok Sam I am got back to me! Now he states that he can't beat the $50 prices of swords on Musashi.com but might be able to get anything else they have listed. So, I know which ones I'm going to pick up for my friends but I'm still wondering on which one to pick up for myself when I have the extra coin. So with shipping I don't really want to spend more than $200 CDN $160 USD. I don't really have the money to buy a blade but I truly miss not owning one... makes me feel... lonely!

Sam just said that he can't beat the $50 price of Musashi but he can beat some of the other prices listed on Musashi.com. I'm not complaining about those prices, I'm more than happy!

Yep, I've found the Musashi Ninja sword for $32, just get SwordsofMight.com or Trueswords to match it and you're good to go. ;D ;D ;D Here's the link: kaswords.com/browseproducts/Musashi-Functional-Koga-Ninja-Katana-Discount-Price.htmlI hope this helps, and I'm glad to be of service to any other forumite in finding the best prices out there. Just PM me with the name of the sword and who makes it, and I'll find THE best price on the 'net. Thanks! -Slayer EDITED TO FIX THE LINKThe link is STILL not working, sorry. See my post 2 posts down, the link works there...

Can't use SOM because they only ship UPS (which refuses to ship to this area now unless they are guaranteed a minimum of 10 parcels) and Trueswords ships by FEDEX which is the same deal as UPS. I hate living in Canada sometimes....

I or someone eles would probably be willing to 'ghost ship' something to you. That is... you buy it, ship it UPS to someone eles, and they in turn send it to you USPS. You would want to know bwfore hand about how much it would cost to have it shipped from where you have it ghost shipped to you, so you can factor in that cost and see if you are really saving anything. Anyway, just a thought.

All that fancy forum speak, eh?

Personally, from my limited experience, I would recommend any of the Musashi blades if you can get them from a reputable dealer. Even in the $40 or $50 price range, they make a great beater sword. Trueswords.com carries some of them, though they may be out of stock, but they do have many variations to choose from, so you can likely find something to make you happy.

If anyone gets one of these, I'd like to see an SBG review of it. . . . unless a review already exists? --Edward

multiple ones. Check the review index under 'musashi' there's one for the 'koga ninja sword' and one for the 'ninja sword'.
Both reviews are of the same sword, under different names. They're also sold at trueswords.com for $60, instead of the $32 which I found.
I hope this helps!

Beyond that, it appears to be the same sword, but for cheaper. This does help; I appreciate it . +1 Karma. --Edward
