There have been several times....like just now. Where I have written a rather long post or pm and bumped the mouse or keyboard while typing and hit reset by accident and wipes the whole thing out. Do we really need the reset button when typing posts? It makes it really easy to undo a lot of work by accident. If someone really wants to reset the typing field its not to hard to "select all" "clear" (or delete) Anyone else accidentially wipe out a long post or am I just a mr butterfingers?

I didn't even know there WAS a 'reset' button, but I see your point. I wonder if Paul has any control over that, or if it's a Proboards thing?

The same thing happened to me, it was quite aggravating.

I just copy my long posts when I'm finished typing them so if my internet fails to load the page I don't have to retype it.

I sometimes accidentally click the back button on my mouse x| That doesn't bother me (maybe beacuse I'm on a mac) If I accidently click the back button, I click the forward button and my text is still there. But click that reset button and it ain't coming back.......

I have never had a problem at SBG. There are a few other forums that I highlight, right click and copy onto the clipboard before hitting the post button. You Tube is the worst if you want to post a comment.
The forward/back button works the same on XP for me.

You Tube is the worst if you want to post a comment. Well, this is as it should be... because commenting on YouTube is often as fun as pouring lemon juice over open wounds and then slapping on a salt-lick bandage. Just Saying.
