Does anyone know where I can find a floorstanding rack that can hold 2 or more medieval longswords? It doesn't matter if it's vertical or horizontal, but I'm just about ready to give up. It seems like every single rack and stand is designed for oriental swords.

I dont see either of those working exceptionally well. The first one would be my pick if I had to pick from those 2. My suggestion is to get something to hang them on a wall.

My suggestion is to get something to hang them on a wall. Thats what I do... went to Home Dept and bought a bunch of wall mountable hooks and went to town. I'll be re-doing my poker/sword/computer room soon and I'll take pictures...

Here's a few I use; The floor rack is actually a spear stand I modified to fit my swords. This is a tool rack; There is more on this topic here; /index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=4699&page=1

after I move I plan to get a rifle case for mine since I want to be able to lock it against intrusion by little fingers. if you have kids you may want to consider that as well. it's pricy though.

I have a rack I am trying to get rid of it, it is a fan sword rack. Made for medieval swords. It was from MRL, I had to get it as a second, so it is a tiny bit beat up, but it has worked well. If you are interested PM me.....

Thanks, mate! How much are you looking for? -Slayer (I may not buy it, but whether I do or not, I'm sure someone will pretty quickly. )

I'd say $50 is a fair price.....I think I bought it for like $75.....It has one little problem with the back corner....a little bump, but not very visible. The buyer would need to pay shipping, it's kind of heavy (10 lbs maybe)....

Now, if you'd said "Dark Ages sword rack" I'd have had a vision of a busty Valkyrie with a Norse sword . . . .
