What is everyones general opinion on this site? They have a price match guarantee plus free shipping on all products over 300. So im trying to get them to price match wiwingti's price of $345 vs their $420 on the Practical Pro Elite. My budget is really closer to about 300 with shipping but if they push it below 345 (says beat the price by 10 bucks) with free shipping I might be sold on that one. Which brings me to another idea, would wiwingti beat a price match against him. Hmmm lol.

these days every website does price match, but they price match to a certain extent. I don't think they will go down that much, they refused to do a price match for me because it was going down 60 dollars.

Because acording the the price match they claim they will beat the price by 10 bucks and offer free shipping? He's looking for the best price.

Oh, save twenty, support a member, save twenty, support a member.... ;P Heh... Tell ya what man, I almost never buy new swords at all. I have bought at least half of my current collection from fellow SBG members... because I like the community. I like buying/selling/trading swords with you guys. However... money is money. Times are tough. When I go shopping for a car, I play several dealerships against one another... I'm out for ME. I want the best price I can get. It helps that I worked in the auto industry for 8 years... but you get my point. There is nothing wrong with looking for the best price, and doing right by yourself.

You want the best price? Then choose a third option; neither. PM sent
However, from what I've heard, SotE is supposed to be a good vendor, although they aren't anywhere close to matching the tried-and-true awesome-ness of Wiwingti! ;D And yes, Wiwingti DOES price-match.
I hope this helps!

Who did you pm, me lol? Becuase I didn't receive anything. Well the Pro Elite was never in my price range of about 300 with shipping. So the only way I would be able to buy it is if they price match him. Otherwise the best deal for that is from the SBG store of 299 with free shipping for the Plus Elite. Which is so far the sword most likely for me to buy. Im otherwise looking at these www.swordsoftheeast.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=236They look real nice up close, just a shame there isn't to much variety in the line, but they do look nice. Or MAYBE these www.swordsofmight.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=84But with the "you get what you pay for" in sword dealings im looking more towards those awesome Katsumotos in the first link, wondering if they could match up with a Plus Elite, maybe a pro elite.

I got it now lol. Pm sent as well. So many many choices in this price range its overwhelming. Being that I wouldnt be spending this much a sword more than maybe once, twice tops, a year I want to make sure I get something im going to be highly satisfied with.

I bought my first Kaze from SOTE and they were a real good company. one word of caution though, they stock LOTS of swords and sometimes their website says they have it in stock when they really don't. call and ask about the sword you want.
