I might have to buy one for the "exclusive stamp that can only be found on a United Black sword blade. " So who wants to take one for the team? (I'm in smartass mode today.)

It is actually proven that you CAN polish a turd. I don't even WANNA know... My guess would be that he is talking about copulite ...which would be fossilized turds... And still it would only be an old, polished turd.... You could concievably gold plate one too... but who wants a gold-plated turd?

They might be decent in a couple years once they've had more experience making functional blades, but I don't trust them now.

hmm well in the case of coprolite, I put forward this mind bending piece for your perusal; Yes this is a real sword which costed about $2000 but why you would do it is beyond me. Nothing quite says semprini to me like this sword. The blade is great but a turd for a handle? Hmm.

Speaking of coprolites, I must quote the words of Andrew Jones about the Lloyd Banks coprolite (found in 1972 in England): "This is the most exciting piece of excrement I've ever seen. In its own way, it's as valuable as the Crown Jewels." Technical info of the Lloyd Banks coprolite: May be the largest example of fossilised human feces ever found. Analysis of the nine-inch (23 cm) long stool has indicated that its producer subsisted largely on meat and bread whilst the presence of several hundred parasitic eggs suggests he or she was riddled with intestinal worms.

Just the idea that everytime I picked up such a lovely blade I was holding a fecal excretion, fossilised of otherwise, would make me feel very very odd. That sword was produced by our very own David Brodziak.

Lots of people call it a blood groove that doesn't mean the swords are crap just because they don't use the right terminology. Maybe not... but using the wrong terminology and 'catch phrases' are one of many warning signs I use to decided to be more carefull about a product when I encounter it. Me too; when I read 'blood groove' or 'battle ready' or 'fully functional' my Knight sense kicks in and advises me to look elsewhere. LOL
