That sword is exactly my taste... simple, clean, elegant... and very VERY functional looking. I love it... +1 from me as well. I very much look forward to hearing how it behaves in the cut... how it handles and recovers. It's awesome man. Oh, and you say it has a good 'ring' to it? I would LOVE to hear it... I'm a sucker for a good sword ring. ;D

Incredible work! Really amazing to see the amount knowledge you guys have. I'm soaking in all I can before I try my hand at a knife.

I guess it'll make me unpopular but I gotta be honest...
The scale on the blade bugs the living crap out of me. The sword looks good overall, but that one spot just sticks out like crazy. I have to look at it.

I have to look at it. I knew there would be atleast one person that it would bug . No worries, but anyone who has seen it in person has said it REALLY contrasts and sets off the polished blade very well.

Another beautiful sword Sam !!! And , for such a large sword, quite light. The scabbard looks great too. + 1 2 U - re-charge.

Nice job Sam. I look forward to seeing more swords from you.
I posted something in the Design are about making a Longsword with hand protection, something you may want to try next.

I understand that, but I want you to realise I want to be held any higher than any other. Anyone can do what I do, and I am not as good as my crappy pictures portray, which is why I am somewhat uncomfortable sometimes with praise, but thanks. I finally got some time to handle this sword. I have a hard time describing how it handles. I feel I cannot be objective, because I have no training number one and number two how can a father say anything bad about one of they're children ? I will be looking for a reviewer to send it to, nothing special but I am looking for some feedback from heavy practitioners of WMA.

While someone like tsafa or ShooterMike are much more experienced and qualified them myself to judge the merits of your blade, Sam, I would be honored to look it over. I love the look of it from the pictures... and there is just something about a hand-made sword from a fellow forum member.

Nice...I take it you're no novice to the smithy! A bit longer than I prefer but nonetheless, that looks like a sword I'd be proud to own.
