Heya, The Dark Sentinel Sword I recently bought is a very handsome sword. I am however a little displeased with the layout of the studding on one side of the handle. The studding on the right side of the blade is out of line and sloppy in places. Can the studs, including the two large center ones, be removed and reset without damage to the handle materials? Has anyone had this problem with their Dark Sentinel and been able to fix it themselves? I really don't want to send the sword back to the retailer for replacement if I can fix it myself. Thanks.

'ello,
Unfortunately there is not going to be much you can do short of totally dis-mantle the sword, make a new wooden core grip, re-wrap with new suede, re-drill all new holes in a more organized pattern and re-stud. The studs on these are just tapped into pre-drilled holes in the grip. So, who ever drilled the intitial holes is to blame for the wonky pattern.
My is done nicely, maybe 1 or 2 slightly off, but nothing that really bothers me. The Dark Sentinels are alot of fun.
cheers,
Bill
