Paul Chen must have seen toms bamboo cutting video...
i was just on wiwingtis site (a good site that is growing by the day) and i noticed the 6th generation 'Practical Katana, the PKLite, has been renamed the 'Practical Special Katana'
this kind of makes sense, as 'light' to me implies hi... although the PK is light, both the 5th & 6th gens had equal blades, with regards to weight geometrys etc, the only difference of the blades being the hamon.
the main difference is the actual traditional construction of the 6th, instead of glue like the 5th.
i believe the 1 ounce lighter 6th, saves that ounce with the tsuba and lack of glue...
still i dont reckon this warrants the name special...
only one man is to blame...
+1 to tom for inciting a name change within the biggest sword company.

I thought the Pk lite and the pk classic were two separate swords, or did they just take the pk clssic blade and swap the furniture?
