I use the hell out of red Loctite on my Harley. I have found that if you fill about 3 thread near the end, its plenty to hold it tight, but not so much you have to use an impact wrench to get a bolt out.

Ahh yes. Loctite, vibration's great ally. I use it sparingly on my KX450, but then it's no Harley.
Slayer, where are your cutting vids bro?

Um, well.... kinda deleted... I'm a techno-failure, lol. ;D Sorry! I just found my camera's instructions though, so next time I cut, plan to see some cool cuts! I have a few things that MIGHT make their way into the 'cool cuts' gallery, once I get them recorded on video. Oh, and BTW, I know that no one is going to believe me... BUT I REPLICATED THIS CUT!!!!! (second one down...) /index.cgi?board=collections&action=display&thread=7758&page=1 It was so freaky... the water was just there, and it wasn't going anywhere. I nearly decided to use my head as a cutting target after I realized that I could have gotten that on tape. Thanks again for the input, I'm going to try again using a bit more Blue Loctite later today. -Slayer

I use the hell out of red Loctite on my Harley. Have you ever used any Quiksteel (putty epoxy) on your bike? I sealed a primer cover with it once that was cracked and leaking oil. I've also used it to fill a bone sword handle with satisfying results.

slayer, that's a real bummer that you didn't get that on video. I remember when Ben came to my place all excited to show me the cut he got. they recorded the darn thing on a cell phone man! that was a hoot! well, just goes to show you: always have a camera running.

Yeah... I was so 'wow' from actually doing it that I didn't realize until a few minutes later what I had missed getting recorded, lol -Slayer
