In one hand, it really felt like some historical scimitars I've hefted. Except the grip was long of course...
Good review Edward!

FYI I also put my review up in the "Reviews" section, where it should be . As it is my first review, any pointers and/or tips would be appreciated. --Edward

Nice review Ecovolo! Heck if it cuts tatami and stays together. can't be all that bad for the price. Yeah for just alittle extra effort they coulda made the wraps better. It's not stainless and don't have a plastic tsuka so why not, could be fun.

Thanks for the comments on the review . FYI this is the 'rough draft' of the review so to speak; the finished review I put in the "Reviews" section of this forum. It's a little more polished than this one . --Edward

Voyager: I have considered buying that one actually, probably the closest I will ever come to a deep sori blade and the blade looks very nicely executed with a nice looking hamon.

Looks like a childish wallhanger, which is probably what it is. That doesn't look like a katana either, thats some pathetic bastardisation of a tachi. You have never seen the show? It is as close as you're going to get to Afro's katana; until someone makes a better one. In case you didn't know, the show is anime so most of what you see is exaggerated; weapons and moves included.

Just saw this. Nice review! I have a fondness for "non-conventional" katanas, myself.
