How about something really interesting like say a schiavona in arming sword length? Or how about a scottish sabre again in arming sword length?

I'd like a Schiavona too. Man, I'd sell one of my kidneys or my car for that (just kidding, I'd keep my car).

I've got a few i'd love to see... (Mostly because no one makes any of them...)
1. Langsax (Broken-back style) 2. Dacian Falx (Or are we restricted to medieval european swords? I'd really just like to see anyone make an affordable Falx, honestly.) 3. Grosse Messer (Seriously...we do need another one. Albion is too much, and i've heard too many bad things about the Cold Steel Grosse Messer to risk buying one.) 4. Roman Spatha
It'd be nice to see any of those, particularly a Falx or Langsax. I have my eye on the Kriegschwert and Hedemark. Both of those are on the list for future (FAR future, lol.) purchases.

Well I'm all for a Grosse Messer (single handed) or Kriegmesser (double handed) thats no secret, I wouldnt even balk if they made it part of their practical line up, after all its a simple long blade with full tang and wood slab grip, not a hugely pretty weapon, but simple and functional ....... maybe it belongs more in the practical slot then signature ....... but hey dreams dreams

I'd like to see something with a subtle fantasy influence like CF's maeglas or elven leafblade.

A leaf blade would be kind of nice.
But I really want to see something that either hasn't been done before, or has rarely been done. So i'll just toss my 'official' vote in with the Grosse/Kriegmesser (Either one.).

Kriegmesser is quite the big slicer, look at how well Cold Steels Grosse Messer does and its not even made all that well .......... imagine what a proper up to spec/craft one would do ........ probably wouldnt cut phone books with it but thats just blade abuse and stupid

A thought on bastard swords ......... we got plenty of single handed swords (Castile, Bristol, Crusader), the Hedemark being our Darkage Viking and Actium the Roman, and we got a the double handed longswords (Kriegschwert, Malatesta and upcoming Templar) but what about the hand and a half sword ? .......... I'm wondering if a nice hand and a half is on the table at any point

AAahhhhhhh lovely ........ I kinda figured it was one they were gonna shoot for with wide appeal, hand n a halves are good in that they make a fun midway sword but at the same time have wide application for the experts ........ very cool .......... Personally I like the stabby versions (ala Hanwei Albrecht II) ....... but any sort would be choice

I think they are in the process of making my deepest, darkest desire in the form of the Templar. I'll just have to get in the DIW line and see...
Edited to add: OR the Crusader! I am more partial to single hand swords...God, when is that custom shop website going to go online so I can get started with the mix/match side of things?!?
