If it's Gen2...yeah, it's tough . Not as tough as a DSA, but still very strong.

I don't have it personally, but I believe that there's a review somewhere in the 'sword reviews' section; it should help a bit if there is one lol.

I think you may be better off with the Gen 2, as DSA had a few tang failures... Or maybe that was just one...
Plus the Gen 2 is probably lighter.
On a side note, I wouldn't mind having a DSA ranger blade for a project, as they are tough as swords get.
