I know it is a fantasy sword, but what is the blade and handle profile based off of? Is their a sword with a profile similar? I mean historically?

I love the Master Sword, the zelda games have always been my favorites. I don't really know of any other sword it's been based off of though. Many times have I seen swords to be similar, but I think it was just an original concept of the creators design.

I agree. It is one of my deepest wishes that my (Future) master sword comes out looking at least half as good.

www.thetanooki.com/2007/12/30/hand-forged-master-sword-slices-its-way-into-our-heart/Jerry Bennett is an incredible craftsman, and a hell of a nice guy lol. He actually has a patent pending for designing his own steel, which, if you've followed the threads on SFI and Don Fogg's forums, was actually quite an accomplishment as he did it in his backyard lol. He and I have discussed at length a polishing technique that he developed utilizing jewelers pitch to replicate japanese stones, and I've got to say it's an awesome process. Pretty cool that he made a link sword for his daughter =). Cris
