Wow, you mean that someone can actually CALL the great John Lundemo?!?!? Oh, yeah, and don't even THINK about leaving us like Hank and Jody; we couldn't stand losing you, mate. One of my life goals is to get a John Lundemo/Odinblade sword...Oh why must I be 14? I'd sell my car, except that I don't HAVE a car. I'd move to a smaller house, except that I still live with good ole Mom 'n' Dad. I'd sell my pancreas (and I have diabetes type 1, so I'd get a good laugh out of that one! ) except that it's illegal in the USA...what am I to do??? It seems as though a Lundemo will forever be beyond my grasp... Oh, yeah, and have I mentioned that I kinda like your work?

Thanks, mate...I'll get there eventually! Just have to finally get my get-rich-quick-scheme working, lol . My sword wish list is somewhere around $40,000 right now...so my plan had better be a good one !!! Thanks, David...BTW, take a look at the 'A strange question' thread in the 'general discussion area'. It is hilarious! (Am I really THAT gullible? ) -Slayer

well... i sorta did my collecting wrong...... I started out with tons of production swords..... then about 2 years ago, i wised up....... sold ALL my production swords and invested in these Lundemos you see here....
its better to have few GREAT swords... than a bunch of mediocre swords

Slayer: What if you get that sword at 15 years old, what are you going to dream about the last 70 years of your life?

I think I've only seen 3 production swords that I actually don't like.... and I've seen just about every sword on the market by well-known manufacturers! Yeah, I'm pretty much stuck...then again, I'm pretty much used to it ;D

I generally dislike the look of this sword, but I really want one. I don't understand... I don't really like these types of swords, but this one is really changing my mind. I love the fittings and such... Damn! I cannot tell if I dislike or am infatuated with this sword! +1 Karma for giving me mixed feelings. (to John)

well tell us what you DONT like about it? Well, it is not really a matter of good or bad, but it just is not my personal preference. Well, I would like to say that, but every time I look at it I feel I want to sell my car so I could get one for myself. ;D

John has that effect on ya.......
........ 13 years ago, when i got involved in this crazy hobby, i was a "katana only" guy..... i thought the katana was just the best and greatest....... ..........that was before i met Lundemo... ............HOWEVER, that being said... you should see Johns Katana..

The things I don't like about this blade, it looks too long (personal bias on short blades here) and it has no curvature, when I think of sabre I think curvature but again personal bias.

I just assumed that the blades you had on your site are already sold, are you saying they aren't?

I just assumed that the blades you had on your site are already sold, are you saying they aren't? The only swords in my site now that aren't sold are the damascus saber and the damascus pompei gladius in the new swords page. The only other sword not sold is the damascus Conan broadsword. I have several bare blades not sold but they aren't posted as of yet, still workin on that thanks john
