I'm just curious, won't it be difficult for a couple hundred people to get through customs with sharp swords in their car? I always hear how crazy customs are with swords and airsoft stuff.

A little more info on that knife for any who may care. The overall length is 320mm (12.6") Blade length is 215mm (8.5) with a grip of 105mm (4.1") Weight is 330g (11.6oz) Steel is XK9258S, 6mm stock. The finish is a forge fired effect with minor hammering visible. The grip is York gum burl from here in Western Australia. A lanyard hole is provided. Cheers

If you squint while looking at the pictures the blade disappears against the wood its resting on. Especially on the photo nearest the bottom.

Actually, we've already looked into that Ken. Swords are not on the list of restricted items ( which include switchblades, beltbuckle knives, nunchukus, blowguns and many other weapons.) I will be calling Border Services canada soon to verify.

It would look perfect on a Katana!!! Yeah... not so much. No, I'm thinking that finish would look amazing on a more rustic sword... like a viking style blade.
