This is starting to sound like fun. I wonder what the locals will think of a bunch of out-of-towners gathering and piling up heaps of weapons...should be quite interesting. Count me in if finances allow.

If only Canada was more close to Texas. Or Australia..., geographically anyway. Monarchy wise we are closer to Canada than Texas I guess.

'at a boy Marc! Let's see if there can be enough people to fill up Randy's back yard!
Crossing the boarder with a sword should not be a problem, swords are not prohibited weapons and don't need a carry permit like a pistol.
Do you know if there are going to be any promotional poster images. I would love to hang them up in the local sword shops. I am sure I can get permission to do so. I should ask Jonis that question too.

i'll bet its not like kill bill where you can just sit in your seat on the plane with your sword...

Hmmmm, this begs another question... Canada is death on firearms... I have been thoroughly searched entering Canada just because I'm from Georgia and they believe we all carry guns in GA... Don't we? ;D I once tried to visit Canada with my girlfriend at the time... and she was refused entry because she had a misdomenor DUI on her record. According to the guy at the gate, Canada does not have a non-fellony DUI, thus she would be considered a fellon, and would not be allowed entry. I thought about ging away, shoving her in the trunk and returning later when a new guard was on shift... but in the end we just turned around, feeling rejected.

Hmm...talking about rejection at the border...I know that currently you do not need a passport to get in to Canada by land or water, but you do need one to fly in from the US. But that is supposed to change sometime in the summer of '09, requiring passports if arriving by land or water as well as flying. It's a possibility we may need passports by these dates to cross.
