I just wanted to say thanks for the numerous hours of entertainment and pleasure that I have derived from this site, as well as from the great mag that appears in my inbox. My bank account feels differently.................

Yup, sooner or later all of us have felt or will feel this way towards Paul. SBG is soooo good. and your bank account. . . that feeling is emptier. MT. at least you'll have some nice swords to fill the empty spot.

Yes Paul, It goes beyond supplying swords at good prices. You differentiate the good from the bad and help us do the same and your honest and provide us with a nurturing place to play and give us personal attention for our swordaholic needs. Thank you! +1 to Mythos Equidae for an insightful and deserved thread.

PAUL ROCKS! Puaul, on the other hand... not so much. +1, Paul, you deserve it! ;D Maybe we should all contribute $1 and buy Paul a new sword? I bet we could get a few hundred of our 2,000 forumites to give a measly dollar, don't you? Devide and conquer, as they say! Anyway, yeah, this thread probably contains the most true statements on the entire site. Saying 'Paul rocks' is like saying 'DSA's are tough' or 'Albions are nice'. All true beyond questionability, and all make you want a new sword! ;D -Slayer

I also have to say thanks. this forum has been much more educational than others of this market. and easier to navigate. I believe your site has helped many lost sword enthusiasts find their path. this site has always been straight forward, and refreshingly personal. I hope you all success in the future.
thaks Paul.

Well Eyal is having a great sale for DSA that benefits SBG, so if you really want to help the forum, pick up one of the swords on his sale page! EDIT: Provided he has any left, that is

In fact, I almost have enough $$$ to get one. ;D However, my idea is not to donate to SBG, but to donate to get PAUL a new sword of his choice. I'd donate and others have said they would as well, so I think it might work! However, seeing as I'm 14, don't have a paypal or even a bank account as of yet, I think that the finances part of this idea would best be left to one of the mods, assuming it ever gets off the ground, that is! Think I should start a thread on it?

Just expanding on the love for this site :-). My particular interest is that, well, I've visited 'other sword forums' and the impression that I get from their members is "if you don't have over $1000 to spend, don't waste our time". I think they forget that there are interested sword collectors who have limited means. *This* place is much more forgiving for collectors with a budget, and better yet, gives info on the best bang for your limited buck.
+1 Karma to the starter of this thread :-).

Think I should start a thread on it? A good hearted geasture, to be sure... However... I suspect Paul has a collection of swords that even ShooterMike and RicWilly would have to respect. With the amount of time he has been collecting and the connections he has made within the market, I would LOVE to see the sort of collection he has built. To me, giving Paul a new sword would sort of be like buying Bill Gates a new PC. ;D

Maybe... Maybe not. But I think if he is plentiful in swords, we should just donate the proceeds to him and let him do as he wishes with it, weather it be spend it on gas, bills etc... Or perhaps on some sort of pointless, enjoyment system, like a PS3 or XBOX.
