Here she is KC. 1075 AISI. Best that I have seen. This used to be on ebay regularly, but is likely no longer available. I wish I had purchased one. At the time, shipping was $120. Brendan may know more than myself. Rat tail tang sounds horrible, but I think that the DSA would qualify as such???

Rat tail tang BAD. As for re-doing the Grip... Brian at DBK could re-do the grip for you no problem.

And it doesnt say what type of steel is used, or the weight. I'd be wary of it.

The details look very very nice but, for such a long blade, a rat-tail tang would render it unsuitable even to practice forms. I should recomend a blacksmith over here to try to improve their version of Anduril, which isn't as nicely finished as Global Gear's, but it is a real sword with full tang 0.8" depth and as wide as the widest part of the blade.

I'm VERY pleased with the sword... the blade is great, tho the furnature is very plain.
