I hope I am not jumping the gun on this. Christian and I discussed showing off the #5 Signature sword in the collection today. I know he will be posting later on the forums when he is finished. I am so excited that I just had to put this up here. First before anyone jumps on the "Where the Kriegschwert?, Where's the Bristol and Actium? The Kriegschwert and Bristol are in production and the Actium is in line for the next run with this sword and 2 new other's that Christian has designed. The new sword is called the Hedemark It is a work in progress so here is a sneak peak. Sonny

I just believe that Christian is one of the most adept sword designers out there and we feel lucky to have he and Gus on board with Valiant Armoury. I am constantly impressed with their work. Wait to you see what else is coming down the pipeline. ;D ;D ;D

I think you guys are revolutionizing the Euro production market, something long overdue... OOPS MEANT TO POST THIS HERE... INSTEAD OF THE OTHER THREAD

Wow, I LOVE that grip! It will work really well in a handshake grip too. The slender shape of teh pommel, swelling to a teardrop, that is ART. Very tasty.
Please can we have a full blade shot. +1 for improving the sword world.

Looks fantastic. Wow, I might have to get back into the Euro repro market, after all...too many new Viking swords (the only ones I really cared about to begin with) are coming out...

Based on some feedback, Christian has redone the handle abit. He has revealed the scabbard. Simple and yet elegant. I love it. I hope you guys do too. Please post your comments. Sonny

I didn't think it could be improved upon.. I was wrong. Looks more "natural" if that makes any sense....

I agree Marc. I think Christian's update flows better and accents the pommel more now

Elegant and sophisticated... you know, in a burn and pillage sort of way. ;D
I like it very much. Any chance of seeing a couple of shots of the full sword and scabbard?
DAMN! There's a bunch of nice swords coming out from Valiant Armoury. How's a man to choose?

Masterfull ......... and to think that its a work in progress you gotta take you hat off to VA, Christian, Gus & Co for really giving us something worthwhile to buy ....... just think when were old buggers these things will still be as good as the day bought ...... seems kinda paradoxial to reminisce about it however many decades from now ........ heirlooms these things will be ........
Just my bit ....... make that pommel bigger to match the guard ....... BAM ..... done ....... got my cash and my mates

DAMN YOU Valiant Armory, I'm trying to STOP buying swords! how can I do that when you are putting out such great stuff? any idea what the base model will look like? I really like the base model of the castile I reviewed here, in fact for the price I like the base model more. I think I might have to go full signature on this one though. there isn't a single part of what I've seen that I don't just love.

I am all about the base model of the Bristol, whenever it becomes avalible, it WILL be mine. If I like the look of the base model for this sword, it will be mine as well. The new stuff from VA is very attractive to me... and I like that, even with the Base Models, the scabbards are much more then the typical throw away crap you see with production swords. If base models come out for these weapons I'm going to be very, very broke...

That's a sword my ancestors would be proud to carry! Will seriosly consider this one, seem to have what I've been looking for in a viking sword aesthetically!
