I ordered a Yeoman as apart of that sale. I need to contact Mike! Maybe mine is almost done.

I saw a very small flaw on the tip of one of the quillions, normally that wouldn't bother me, but on an albion... Still, great looking sword over all. I see that in the picture too. I have no idea what it is a reflection of, but it doesn't actually look like that on the sword. I'm looking at it as I type this and it can't be found. You had me worried there for a minute. I'm very happy to hear it was just some sort of photographic illusion! Enjoy the sword (and we are looking forward to your review!)

Killer delivery time. They're crankin'em out right now. This is one of a few Albion sword that "shares" a blade with others. I would guess that for those, they make a few of the blades in advance, knowing that the odds of someone ordering *one* of the 3-4 swords sharing the blade are decent. The swords with very unique blades probably only get made on demand, starting from square one.

It has the same pommel as the Gaddjhalt. The guard is the simple square guard used on a number of different Albion models. I would be very surprised if all the components weren't already built before I ever ordered it. I'm just thrilled to get it so quickly.

it's always good picking up those used Albions when people decide to change direction too, that's been my entry point for them, I have yet to be able to afford a brand-new one. Besides, it will be used when I sell it, it may as well be used when I buy it

That is a nice looking sword Mike.
I never thought I would be in the market for Albions, but after my test cutting this summer, I'm keeping and eye out for recession sweetheart deals. I figure there is still six months to go before recession hits bottom.
