so what do we think of Deepeeka swords? I've heard some things I don't really like about them.
the reason I ask: I'm looking for a sparring sword. I don't want to cut with it, in fact I want it to not cut. so if they aren't good cutters that can be a plus. I do like the variety I'm seeing offered, and they are cheap. just how cheap are they? I'm willing to blunt a sword that comes sharp to get a better handling sword. I'm not going to be doing hard sword on sword sparing just light sword and shield.
yes, I'm still saving for an Albion, so I want to keep my budget for a sparring sword low.

Don't deepeeka melt in your hand, not in your mouth?

There is a line of structural Deepeka swords but most are decorative. What you want if are more durable have been listed as Sports Armoury swords www.deepeeka.co.in/sports-armoury-swords.htmlWhat is also thought of as reenactment, really is the decorative level meant as showy. Selling the others as usuable may do a little light use but they aren't met to be banging on each other. that is what they offer in the Sports Armoury line. Don't expect those as sharps either, there are just too many reasons to why not simply buy sharps. Cheers Hotspur; some sellers have a bad reason to think the decorative versions just aren't meant to be sharps

The hanwei practical series is, for the price they come at, really damn good. If you can, try and get the old wooden scabbard instead of the new plastic one.
