Hello. New member here. Thanks for having me. I recently acquired a nice Japanese sword I think. I need some help to identify it tho. I don't use photobucket and other apps like it. I usually just attach thru the forum site but it seems like my account is limited for now from what I've read here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

The blade is 33 inches long from tip to tang. The handle portion has been taken apart before I got it. I have more photos but the imagur app isn't letting me access but just a few. So I will have to take more photos when I get home. I'm at lunch now and just testing this method out. It's making me make memes also for some reason lol. I'll figure it out more soon I promise. Here is a photo of the whole sword tho. I can see the small folds in the metal, the tsuba looks very real. It's 28 inches from from the blade collar to the tip of blade. I need to know what it is, how old it is, and it's basic worth so I know what to spend to fix it. Thanks imgur.com/a/25r4W3b

Unfortunately to me it seems to be a Chinese fake of a Japanese WWII sword.

Ok guys thanks. Any idea what it says on the blade? I'd like to know it's meaning.
