Hello there. After visiting a hema grappling seminar this weekend I became interested in the rondel dagger and would be interested in having a functional one in my collection at some poin in the future.
Are the Todds workshop daggers the best? They are often featured in videos of one of favourite HEMA youtubers ScholaGladiatoria and they really look very good so far.
Is Todds workshop the best adress for daggers or would there be other vendors worth considering?

I would never hesitate to recommend Tod Cutler if you want to get into daggers. I have a dozen of his stuff (8 daggers, 3 eating knives, and a folding knife) and have been happy with each one. Is there one you were looking at in particular? I only have the shorter English rondel in my collection but alientude has a review of the more substantial twisted rondel. I was going to add it and several others to my collection this weekend but decided to get one item from Tod's Workshop instead.

I'm very pleased with the quality of the Tod daggers, knives and warhammer that I own.

Both look good, but the Tod Cutler people are much better than A&A at replying to emails

That's good to know that customer service from Tod Cutler is better. In general more inclined towards the Tod Cuttler Dagger because it is closer to my place. The UK is not in the EU anymore so some import fees cannot be avoided but they maybe cheaper than the ones from Arms and Armor. Tod also seems to be a cool guy.I enjoy his videos on Youtube, so I do not mind supporting him and his business with a purchase.

There's a cold steel rondel. Lord of battles makes a couple models.
