This is the company that originally produced the Balaur Arms swords for Kult of Athena, and it certainly looks like they're using many of the exact same designs.

Yes it the same company. According to the promo pics, yes many swords look the same. I never had the chance to hold any Balaur Arms so I cant say if it was a good product. But I heard good things on them. I dont know what kind of agreement they had with KOA about designs. Im sure they know what they are doing.

I might be receiving some of these for review, as well.

The Epee rapier is rather interesting. It looks to be of the a la Mousquetaire variety. There's a fellow in Canada who sold reproductions of these with hollow ground blades, but he never appears to have them in stock.

They do seem very promising, I will definately keep an eye out for the reviews.
Are there any known vendors in Europe for these? Or are they shipping from India? The shipping costs are getting so darn high I cannot think about buying a sword from the US unless it would be high end or antique.
I was really looking some Balaur Arms items but above problem happened, not viable to me to buy a budget sword from US.

The kriegsmesser looks identical to the Cold Steel model.
Not a bad thing.

They're the source for the Cold Steel kriegsmesser, as well as their single edged Viking sword.

wonder why KoA switched manufacturers. I cant remember if the rumor was if it was a HT issue Matt Jensen also did a Cold Steel Kreig review and it had a problem with the HT I look forward to some of the reviews especially if there is a nice flex test.

I talk about the reason in this video, and there's a link in the description to KoA's post about it:

Cool that they're putting swords out again. I know it was iffy after the KoA fallout to buy directly from OTC as some members were posting they'd send payment with no sword ever being shipped out and big fights for refunds. So I'd definitely proceed with caution unless these are sold through a vendor like KoA or MRL. If it's buy directly from India from OTC aka Erik Steelcrafts I'd probably avoid until they show consistency in shipping and stock availability.

I am debating trying their Arn out. The latest pictures they released however, do not have the engraving on the guard. So I wonder what that is all about. If it does have that engraved guard, I may have to try it.

Months later and still nothin new about any of their new projects. I know they sent a few to one of our members to check out, but haven't heard anything, and they are not on Battle Merchant yet. Does anyone know anything new?
