I like the swords from this initial line and its cool how they are all based off antiques, but due to them not being my exactly to my taste i don't think ill be getting one being not much of a practitioner Your collection is awe-inspiring! No need to slum it with us sword-beaters. Haha!

The single edged arming sword. I really want to add the falchion and two-handed sword as well but I've got a pair of Albion's not too far off so I guess I'll have to wait. Damn you, financial responsibility! So, just to kind of be back on track... if other swords are added to this line in the years to come what ones do you think would be cool. I found one called IX.155 that looks pretty dope.

Haha! it is a nice alternative tho for those who want some historical accuracy but don't want to spend too much, hopefully they continue the line and make more varieties, it is probably impossible but id love a Swiss saber

I was going to break out the popcorn, but I'm doing keto...can I just have some almonds or chicharrones? I think their fight migrated to another thread. It's a Type XXII! Yea it'd be awesome for them to do it or one similar in the next batch, not much if any representation of the Type XXII on the market.

Just a note: I have pruned 'Enoch-Kane's' posts from this thread. If there are others I've missed, please PM me. Thank you all, and be patient with us, some decisions need time to percolate.

Dear lebleuchevalier, In fact the Royal Armouries reproduced and sold a version of that second sword a few years ago when they had an exhibit that focused on Henry VIII. There are still a few examples of it left, but you may not find it very satisfying--it's a letter opener. For around seven and a half times as much as one of Windlass' Royal Armouries swords you could have Leo Todeschini make a pretty awesome Henry VIII sabre through his Tod's Workshop custom shop. But that may be more in certain other members' particular . . . idioms. Best, Mark Millman

I showed my friend that sword a few weeks ago and he's going to attempt to Frankenstein a similar one with pieces he has lying around. I can't wait!

Dear curiomansion,
Not as far as I know. And I'm afraid I really don't know how likely you are to find one on the U.S. secondary market before the last three at the Royal Armouries sell out.
Good luck!
Best,
Mark Millman

I should be receiving a Chevalier and Prince before the end of the year, both with bronze pommels. I look forward to seeing your friend's work when it's done! The first one is definitely something I would love to see done! Almost looks like something out of Conan! IX:5619? I had the fortune to visit London and Leeds after graduating in the spring of 2009 and I missed seeing a piece of memorabilia from my favorite film series by like 5 months?! Not cool Royal Armories, not cool at all.
