Here's the original: Tip with a ridge from the diamond cross section, negative distal taper above rhe fuller. Shiny copper inlays in the blade. Everything a bit too new and artificial. I filed down the tip section to a lenticular cross section and a more spatulate point. I still have to polish the tip a bit. During sanding the blade with grey scotch brites the copper went away, it was just a very thin layer. I'l try to etch the runes darker. The weight of 1100 g didn't change but I added 10 g of grip band at the hilt and lost 10 g at the tip. Handling improved a bit, very similar to my H/T Viking.
