Ok so this is a review of a sword bought on eBay with my money 💰and seller wangkatana was made aware that I would be reviewing sword here too..purchase price was $200 Australian shipped to my door that’s a bit over I dunno $130 USD abouts??
So upon receipt of the sword it came well packed incased in foam
So made the journey from china to Australia nice and safely😀..
First impressions were quite good the sword was cleanly executed nice and well new hahaha…the blade glistening with a nice wavy hamon up the blade with a little contrast between the ji and the ha sections…the hamon continued right thru the tip(Boshi)…the blade has a full length bo-hi ..and is executed evenly on each side ..the tsuka-ito was nice and tight
And is down in a hiner-maki style…the menuki s tryed in tightly the fuchir and kashira as well as tsuba made from brass..with a nice finish on them..the tsuba features the leaves design and the other fittings featuring cranes cast into the brass… the menuki is of a dragon.the laser engraving on the tang which I had asked for to be done as the mei (signature of the smith and day)was revealed once I had removed the tsuka …and quite nice too I really liked this part…the ray skin seems to be. Authentic and done in panels..and the tsuka had no cracks in it again a good sign…while on rhe tsuka I noticed the fuchira had an engraving in the top of it also a very nice little surprise…..onto the saya it is a Matt speckled black withe a green sageo on it once again very clean neat and no scuffs or scratches…it fitted tightly and has no rattle…I’ve had the Wakizashi a couple of weeks now and it is really grown on me…for the price point it is a very reasonable offering in my opinion…I’ll link here to some pictures so you can see This is link. ibb.co/2dHZFM4
I’ll add more pictures as I go there’s about 8-10 there now..

I just wanted to add an edit since I bought this prices have gone up on the swords by a lot, which changes things this wakazashi is now just a hair under $300…
