As the title suggests, what do you suppose is the current value of these pieces?
It seems hard to speculate. If another run was issued values would obviously decrease. I see a museum collection Anduril on the way.
I see examples of both on eBay for 3-6k, but they also usually include original packaging and boxes.
I've got both, with the scabbards. I have no intention of selling them, but I am curious about what their current value are.
I've seen just the blue scabbard for Glamdring go for a considerable amount, but again, it does appear this is going to be reissued at some point.

I always love this topic of discussion.
I bought my MC sting and scabbard about 6 years, new for $200. At the time there were a couple for sale around that price point.
Then a couple years later, I bought my new MC Glamdring for about $1,000 and paid almost $500 for the scabbard.
About two years ago I saw one of the first MC Stings for sale in a long time, with no case or anything, MAYBE with the scabbard, but that was it. The guy wanted like $3,000 for it on eBay. I got in a discussion with the guy that got more and more heated. At that point the last several MC Stings all sold for about what mine did, $200. So all of a sudden here is this guy trying to sell it for 10X that?! Yeah, ok. Well, a couple months later, and several relistings, he allegedly sold it. I have no clue if he actually did, but he told me he sold it for $2,000something.....hmmm....
Now, ever since that day, every one that pops up they ask $2,000-$5,000 for. Yeah ok.
In a similar fashion, every MC Glamdring I see, they are asking even more for. One sold here a year or two ago and it sold for $400 or $700, right around there, scabbard and all.
So honestly, in my mind, I think that is the more realistic price. But I don't mind putting it at the upper range, somewhere between $600-$1,100 for the sword. But I think $300-400 for the scabbard is about right.
One was just listed on eBay asking like $7,000. It did at least come with the case and all..... But $7,000?! I think not. I have no idea if it sold or not.
So, to me, realistically I think sting and scabbard is worth about $400-500. But ebay will have people believe it is more like $2,000-4,000.
And I think Glamdring is worth about $1,500-$1,700 with the scabbard. Maybe another couple hundred if it has the case and all in pristine condition. Ebay will suggest that is closer to $3,000-7,000.
That is my two cents anyway.

imo 500-1k but its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, i find the prices for some of these on ebay pretty steep, for 6k i could have the handmade version made by weta Peter Lyon himself
