Wondering if anyone has any tips that don't involve a full re-wrap for a leather over wood grip (no twine wrap underneath) where the leather has begun to shift a little.
I think perhaps it's pulled away from whatever adhesive was used in a spot.
Thanks

Hmm... Not sure if you consider this a full redo or not; to remove the leather, reglue it, and put it back on? If that is too much, then get a tiny nail or needle and sneak some wood glue in there. Or any epoxy can work. Crazy glue works but that sometimes bleeds through depending how thin the leather is. That tis why I like wood glue; it creates an incredibly tight leather to wood bond without sleeping through. Can't get to the loose spot because it is in the middle? Make friends with an EMT or nurse and have them get you a proper 18 or so guage needle. Put some glue in that, insert it through the grip and squirt some in there! That will leave a tiny hole of course, but the leather should mostly close back up.

I apologize for taking so long to reply but I have to thank you for the genius idea to use an 18 gauge flat ended syringe with wood glue. I was able to make a tiny incision inject the glue and then spread it out under the leather, it worked brilliantly.
It was a nice stitched grip that I really didn't want to remove but the slipping was driving me nuts and I was worried it would eventually wear through in that spot.
Great advice, cheers
