One of my bronze blades has stains, probably due to the leather(?) inlay of the wooden scabbard it was in. It's not the usual green patina but an ugly brown stain that covers the part of the blade that touched the leather scabbard inlay. The rest of the blade is still nice and shiny. I've been thinking about using a copper polish like Brasso, but I'm worried about damaging the blade. Any advice is welcome.

U wont damage bronze with polish, just might need to polish up the whole thing to make it consistent and don't store it inside a leather sheath, tho tbh any issues that pop up cause of it will be only cosmetic

I agree with stormmaster with on everything. Be prepared to polish the entire blade.
