Hey Hoplophiles!
cc: buyswords
Big announcement:
The Celtic Art, Apparel and Music side of RambleTree is growing, and I need to stay laser-focused on that.
Just updated the Printed Armoury collection page to read:

April 29, 2022
Thanks everyone for ordering over the past several months!
The art + apparel side of RambleTree is growing, and I need to stay focused on that.
So, I'm handing off Printed Armoury products to a dedicated sword retailer - BuySwords.com
The owner, Jason, is passionate about swords and customer service. I'm confident it will be in good hands. It will take a couple weeks to get inventory moved over to his Pennsylvania, USA-based warehouse and up on his store. Stay tuned at SBG Forum and BuySwords.com
------------------
All current orders have been processed and shipped, and the products are paused on my store.
I had intended to set up a separate, niche-specific store, but found that I simply didn't have the creative bandwidth to handle that and my art business.
My experience with Jason at BuySwords.com:
A few months ago, I was shopping around for a Cold Steel MAA Arming Dagger. It was out of stock/discontinued everywhere. A search finally lead to a product listing on his store, and it looked like I could add-to-cart and checkout.
The contact page had a US office address and phone number, so I gone in touch to check if they actually had the item, since it wasn't available anywhere else.
Jason talked to me on the phone, letting me know that it was a new-old stock item he had laying around for years. He personally went and inspected the item and let me know that it was in new condition (which it was when I received it). We talked for quite a while about ecommerce, his sword-business experience, etc. I was impressed to hear that he primarily sells what he actually has on-hand, physical inventory (similar to Kult of Athena).
When I was thinking of handing off the Printed Armoury line to another vendor, I reached out to a couple well-known online stores that I thought would be agile enough to handle the quirky specifics. Never heard back.
Then I remembered my experience with BuySwords, and saw that he'd been posting here on SBG Forum.
Got in touch this week, had a great conversation, and have been in touch with Mike Jia about BuySwords taking over the Printed Armoury products.
I'm in the process of getting all the pics, descriptions, specs, etc. and physical inventory over to Jason, which will take about a week. Then he'll get the products up on his store.
Pricing should be the same or similar. Shipping rates may be different, as he integrates the products into his shipping model.
Wholesale/bulk pricing may be slightly different, but will be part of the plan.
Re: Restock
I recently heard again from Mike about restock from the foundry/factory (which is in China - that's why the parts don't cost hundred$).
Previous timeframe was looking at Spring-Summer '22.
Current update (as of late April '22) is more like Fall-Winter '22.
Lockdown conditions have slowed/halted transportation over there, as the parts are moved from foundry to polishing factory, etc.
So, your patience is appreciated there.
BuySwords will have accurate availability of current stock. When the restock lands, it will be available there.
So, in the interest of staying focused on my art business, I won't be replying to this thread much (or at all), as I work on making a smooth transition of the Printed Armoury product line.
It's been a pleasure to serve the sword community and you, my customers. I've been happy to work with Mike Jia to steward the Printed Armoury stock, receiving them from Luis at LG Martial Arts, and now 'changing of the guard' (ha ha) to Jason at buyswords.com
I will be relinquishing my Manufacturer + Vendor status once the transition is complete, and you'll see me lurking around the forum once in a while, buying/selling on the classifieds, and commenting on stuff beyond my experience and understanding after too many pints and drams.
Go raibh míle maith agaibh!
(thanks a million!)
